Business Development Representative

We are looking for a high-energy and dynamic Business Development Representative (BDR) with strong written and verbal communication skills to spark the pipeline and support the growth of our products.

What You’ll Do

 

As a BDR you are responsible for qualifying and engaging with prospects at the initial stages in the sales funnel. The main objective is to generate pipeline and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales prospects.

You do that through outbound and inbound activities where you research potential clients, connect with and educate prospects and qualify, before handing them over to Sales Executives for the next steps in the sales process.

The outbound sales process is all about reaching out to prospects in the form of cold calls, emails or through social networks to build pipeline. This process allows BDRs to personalize their outreach from the first touchpoint.

The inbound sales process is directed toward prospects who have shown interest in our product or service by reaching out to the company or sales person via phone call, email or request for additional information. Since contact has already been made, SBDRs begin making warm or hot outreaches.
 

Responsibilities

  • Respond, engage and qualify inbound leads and inquiries

  • Work closely with Marketing and Sales to develop account-based marketing activities 

  • Initiate contact with potential customers through cold-calling or responding to inquiries generated from marketing and lead generation activities.

  • Create relationships with potential customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests.

  • Identify needs and demands and articulate value propositions to potential customers.

  • Moving solid qualified leads through the marketing and sales funnel, connecting them to Sales Executives, and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls.

  • Following up with potential customers who have expressed interest through their engagement on our website, webinars, seminars or other marketing activities.

  • Collaborating closely with Sales Executives to reach out to target accounts to build pipeline

  • Nurture potential customers through regular follow-up calls or emails to build long-term trusting relationships with potential customers to qualify leads as sales opportunities

  • Ability to work in a hybrid model (home/office), based in Guatemala City
     

Ideally you:

  • Have experience with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo

  • Have 2+ years of B2B software sales experience

  • Can get things done with little guidance, looking to improve the way we do things

  • Have experience in dealing and presenting to C-Level executives

  • Have strong communication skills in English and Spanish
